March 2ndAsh Wednesday Service (Zoom)
Contact the church office for the zoom link if you have not already received it. If you plan to attend, please bring along material for the Imposition of Ashes. For this ritual, the sign of the cross is made on your forehead. You can use ashes (if you have some) mixed with a bit of oil, or just plain oil, or even dirt mixed with a bit of oil. This practice has its roots in the Bible, where ashes often accompanied and represented grief, the acceptance of human mortality, and the call to repent of sin.
February 22ndReturn to In-Person Worship
After a productive discussion discerning when to return to in-person worship, the Leadership team and the Re-opening committee proposed the date of March 13th to resume in-person worship. With the return to in-person worship, we remain committed to following all public health guidelines and doing our best to keep each other and our wider community safe. BMC will also continue to offer a hybrid model of worship, with both in-person and online options.

October 3rdOutdoor Service
September 1stReturning to Church
We have been trying to develop a reopening plan that will allow us to worship together in our church building. These services will be a combine in person and Zoom participants for hybrid style services. See below for our proposed outline and stay posted for updates in upcoming weeks as we work out the kinks. We hope to be able to begin indoor services on September 12, 2021!
September 1stCluster Service
Come gather outdoors at Wanner Mennonite Church, 1725 Beaverdale Rd. Cambridge for a cluster service with other local congregations! Service starts at 10:00, bring masks, chairs, and a bag lunch if you wish. Please remember to follow physical distancing protocols as always.
July 6thFarewell for Dave & Annemarie
Little did we know when Dave began his time as our interim supply pastor that he would get only one Sunday in our church building. We are hoping this can be his second Sunday with us outside the church.
After a (strange) year and a half we are saying "Goodbye" to Dave and Annemarie in our worship service on Sunday, July 25. We have benefitted greatly from his time with us. We didn't get to welcome him with a potluck, and depending on COVID restrictions, it may be awhile yet before we can all eat together. However, if the weather cooperates we will meet, masked and physically distanced, to worship God together, as we have our final service with Dave & Annemarie. More details will be available in the coming weeks.

Outdoor Service
Come join us this upcoming Sunday, October 3 for an outdoor service (weather permitting). Bring a lawn chair and your mask! We are also planning to have Communion together so please plan to bring your own elements to participate in that as well.
Unfortunately due to the high chance of rain tomorrow our outdoor service has to be cancelled. We will be online/in person for those who have registered. Still remember your communion elements though!
